COGNITIVE SKILLS BY DESIGN
Mindsight training invites children to explore attention, intuition, and inner awareness through guided, playful experiences.
It is a space to wonder, experiment, and discover how uniquely they perceive the world.
Mindsight creates a gentle, encouraging environment where children can become quieter, more focused, and more aware of their own impressions—without pressure to perform or arrive at one particular result.
Guided activities encourage children to slow down, settle their attention, and notice what is happening within them.
Children are invited to recognize impressions, sensations, and intuitive responses with openness rather than self-doubt.
Playful exercises make room for imagination, experimentation, and the possibility of perceiving in unfamiliar ways.
Mindsight training is an invitation to explore—with room for uncertainty, play, and surprise.
Using simple tools such as colored cards, illustrated books, and guided sensory exercises, each child is encouraged to move at their own pace and experience the process in their own way.
Laurie Carty created Cognitive Skills By Design to offer children a supportive place to explore their natural awareness and cognitive potential.
As a certified Mindsight practitioner, Laurie approaches each child with warmth, patience, and respect for their individual experience. Her role is not to force an outcome, but to guide the process and help curiosity feel safe.
